The Firm represented AEP Retail Energy Partners LLC (a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc.) in its March 2012 acquisition of the BlueStar Energy family of companies providing retail electric service in a nine-state region in the Midwest and Northeast. This transaction continues the firm’s work for AEP in transactions for the purchase and sale of retail electric businesses throughout the United States.
