Chambers USA Again Ranks DWMR as Leading Energy Law Firm

Chambers and Partners (Chambers USA 2014, May 23, 2014) has again given DWMR high rankings for both its electricity and oil and gas state regulatory and litigation practice areas, ranking the electricity practice Band 1 and the oil and gas practice Band 2. The announcement states that “the team is known for highly respected energy group with deep-rooted experience in the electricity and oil and gas markets” and that it “houses strong bench of electric regulatory experts who handle general counseling work and litigation with particular skill in acting for bodies outside the Electric Reliability Council of Texas.” It is “recommended for its strength in natural gas pipeline work and appears before bodies such as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) on behalf of multiple gas industry clients.”

Describing key individuals, Chambers said that James Mann comes highly recommended for his leading expertise in pipeline-related work and matters involving the RRC. Casey Wren acts for a diverse client base spanning the electric and natural gas industries. David Duggins stands out for his courtroom skills and is experienced in handling of a significant variety of administrative matters, including those involving public utility issues. Kerry McGrath is highly regarded for his experience in acting for electric utilities on a range of regulatory matters.
