Celina Romero has once again been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, 19th Edition and Texas’ Best Lawyers, Austin Edition for her work in practice areas of Administrative/Regulatory Law and Environmental Law. Celina’s familiarity with the natural gas pipeline industry runs deep as a significant amount of her practice includes the representation of the Texas Pipeline Association and its individual members in air quality and greenhouse gas proceedings, in making extensive comments on proposed rules by the TCEQ or EPA, and in being heavily involved in the Texas legislative process to monitor, draft and testify on proposed legislation impacting the natural gas pipeline industry. She has been a Member and a Past-Chair of the State Bar of Texas, Administrative and Public Law Section. She has served on the Board of Directors of several nonprofits, including SafePlace, the Ann Richards School Foundation Board, San Juan Diego Catholic High School, and St. Gabriel’s Catholic School. She earned her J.D. in 1980 from The University of Texas Law School, and her B.B.A. in 1977 from The University of Texas at Austin. She is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and United States District Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas.
